Do you want to help develop a preschool in transition? Björnen’s Preschool is undergoing an exciting reorganization and opening a fifth department. We are now looking for an experienced, confident, and engaged preschool teacher who wants to work as a substitute and take special responsibility for teaching.

About the position

The position is a temporary assignment until the turn of the year, with a possible extension.

Björnen’s Preschool is in a phase of development where we are growing and reorganizing our operations. This means you will join a context where collaboration, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach are crucial.

At our preschool, the child is always at the center. We actively work to create safe, developmental, and inspiring learning environments based on the curriculum and inspired by Helen Jenvén’s theories. Children’s influence and participation are a natural part of our operations.

Your role

In this role, you are expected to:

• take clear responsibility for teaching and pedagogical work.
• contribute to structuring and developing the operations.
• be a support for newly graduated colleagues in our departments.
• work actively with pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work.
• create stimulating and inclusive learning environments.

You play an important role in building stability and security in an organization that is developing.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified preschool teacher or has equivalent pedagogical education.
• has experience working in a preschool and has been involved in previous change processes.
• is confident in your professional role and accustomed to taking responsibility for teaching.
• has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience mentoring colleagues or working in change processes.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who:

• is flexible and confident in change.
• has good collaboration skills, is communicative, and contributes to a positive work climate.
• is clear and structured in your pedagogical leadership.
• has the ability to support and inspire colleagues, including newly graduated colleagues.
