Vittra Schools is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, with 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff. Do you have a passion for seeing children grow, develop, and have fun? We are looking for an engaged and creative after-school care teacher with qualifications in home economics who wants to help shape a meaningful leisure time for our students. Together with colleagues in both the after-school care and the school, we work to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Experience with diabetes is preferred.

Vittra Gerdsken is located by Lake Gerdsken in Alingsås. The school is situated in a beautiful green area with access to forests and several nice walking paths. The school is housed in an older building where the premises were formerly a factory but have today been renovated to suit school operations. We also have the privilege of having both a preschool and a primary school in the same premises, allowing children to start at the preschool and continue all the way to Grade 9. We strive to create Alingsås's healthiest preschool and primary school and believe strongly in working together to achieve higher goals.

Learning and development guide all planned activities, and we work systematically to monitor the quality of everything we do. Therefore, we meet regularly for collegial discussions to discuss teaching. The students are our most important partners and are constantly present in our development work. This means that we teachers are always responsible for both the teaching and the pedagogical relationship, but everything we do is created in interaction with the students.

We have high expectations of ourselves and our joint work, which is based on collegial learning and the individual needs of the children. Together, we build a safe and challenging environment where everyone can develop, both children and adults.
