The Child and Youth Administration is responsible for preschool, after-school centers (fritidshem), primary school, and adapted primary school grades F-9. In total, we are about 1,100 people working to provide a good environment for our children and students today and preparing them for the future. As staff in our administration, you create, together with us, the conditions for children's and students' desire to learn and their opportunity to succeed.

Noltorpsskolan is a F–6 school in Alingsås with three parallel classes, where safety, community, and learning are at the center. We are now looking for a teacher in preschool class and grades 1-3, where we consider qualification in Social Studies (SO) and Natural Sciences (NO) for grade 3 to be meritorious. We also view experience in after-school centers positively. This is a one-year temporary position where you will have the opportunity to support several different classes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for teaching parts of subjects in a class and in the after-school center. We expect you to be confident in planning and following up on teaching and to be flexible, as this position will involve collaboration with other teachers.

In this position, you will be placed in grades F-3, where the focus is on creating a safe, stimulating, and educational start for the students in their school journey. The assignment includes teaching in several different subjects, so we would appreciate it if you had a broad qualification for F-3.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are educated and licensed as a teacher for preschool class and grades 1-3
• are well-versed in the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School (Lgr 22), formative assessment, and have digital competence
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• previous experience in similar assignments and pedagogical work
• licensed teacher for preschool class and in Social Studies (SO) and Natural Sciences (NO) for grade 3
• experience from after-school centers

To succeed in the role, we believe you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are attentive, communicative, and contribute to a safe and positive collaboration in the operations. You find it easy to build good relationships with students and adapt your approach and communication based on the individual's needs and prerequisites. We also expect you to have pedagogical insight and understanding that people learn in different ways.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
