Are you a skilled lawyer who wants to work at the center of events and become an expert in legislative technique? The Office of Legal Review is now seeking one or more legal experts. We offer an exciting and responsible role where you contribute to ensuring the quality of the Government's legislative proposals.

As a lawyer with us, you will serve as a contact person for several ministries and review drafts of references to the Legislative Council, government bills, ministry memoranda, committee mandates, etc. The work is carried out in collaboration with the language experts at the office. Your duties also include answering questions and providing advice to the ministries. You will also be engaged in one or more of the other projects that the Office of Legal Review is responsible for. It may also become relevant to conduct training within the Government Offices. The work is independent and responsible but is also characterized by extensive collaboration.

Your background
We are looking for you who have a background as an assessor in the Court of Appeal or the Administrative Court of Appeal. You need to have very good legal knowledge, and if you have experience of legislative work in the Government Offices, this is particularly meritorious. Experience of similar work in the Riksdag, the committee system, or other government operations is also meritorious.
Your qualities
Everyone working in the Government Offices needs to have a holistic view and collaborate for the benefit of the operations. You are expected to contribute your perspective and competence and be open to others. You will bring ideas and new approaches to improve and develop the operations and your own competence. You are results-oriented in your actions and adapt when needs and directions change.
We are looking for you who take initiative and can quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas. You have very good analytical skills and sound judgment, which enables you to prioritize effectively and make well-founded decisions. You work carefully and systematically, even under time pressure, and always deliver with high quality. You have very good teamwork skills and contribute positively to the team, while also being confident in working independently and taking responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you express yourself very well both orally and in writing and have a strong commitment to quality in legislation as well as a genuine interest in clear, distinct, and comprehensible language.

Fixed-term appointment as a legal expert or subject matter expert. Immediate start or by agreement.
The position is classified in a security class. A security investigation with register check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, but you may have a foreign background.
