Parkskolan houses the lower secondary school in the central town and is located right in the middle of Älvsbyn. Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in textile crafts, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching for students in grades 2–6 in the central town. You work closely with the school's teachers in wood and metal crafts to create inspiring and cohesive craft education.

At Parkskolan, you will have the opportunity to focus on the learning mission and work in a dynamic environment where collaboration is a fundamental part of the school's working methods – between teachers and students, between school and home, and among the school's various competencies.

The role includes creating a safe, creative, and stimulating learning environment, both socially and physically. You are also expected to contribute to the development of both your own teaching and the school's joint quality work.

Qualifications

You have a teaching license with eligibility to teach textile crafts in the earlier years of primary school, grades 2-6. We are looking for teachers who are skilled leaders. It is important that you can lead your student group in a relational manner while optimizing your students' development by supporting and challenging them in their learning. You adapt your teaching to the needs of the group and individual students. Experience and knowledge of working with children in need of special support are advantageous. Personal suitability is given great weight.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2026-08-12. We may apply a probationary period for new hires.

An extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register is required. The recruitment assumes that necessary decisions are made.
