Bjälbo Preschool

Bjälbo Preschool is located in the beautiful nature of Fritsla and offers a unique learning environment in a charming factory worker's house with large spaces and an annex. Our preschool has a large, park-like yard with fruit trees, berry bushes, and opportunities for gardening. Here, children experience the changes of nature up close. We actively work on developing our outdoor environment and creating a new school garden that inspires play, learning, and exploration.

At our preschool, children's curiosity and desire to learn are at the center. We create environments where children's thoughts and ideas can take place and drive the operations forward. We place great emphasis on pedagogical relationships and meet each child based on their unique potential. Bjälbo Preschool is Green Flag certified and actively works with sustainable development and Agenda 2030.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Nature and sustainability are important parts of our operations. Currently, we are actively working on creating a new school garden that inspires play, learning, and exploration. Together, we build inspiring learning environments and let children discover the world both indoors and outdoors.

You are an engaged and present educator who sees every child and creates trusting relationships. You want to contribute to collegial learning and develop the operations together with us in a non-hierarchical way. Here, you will work in a learning organization where we reflect and develop together every day.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified preschool teacher or a teacher with a focus on preschool.

We are looking for someone who:

• Sees solutions
• Has good structure in their work, takes personal responsibility, and is goal-oriented.
• Is engaged, dedicated, and empathetic. Children should be met by educators who are positive and emotionally available.
• Cooperates easily, communicates well, and has a good manner of dealing with people. You should be able to work both independently and in a team.
• Is willing to drive both your own and the preschool's development based on research and scientific grounds.

Qualifications in TAKK (Teaching through Arts, Culture, and Communication) and nature knowledge are meritorious.
