Do you want to work with payroll and have the opportunity to take significant responsibility in a business-critical role? Our partner is now looking for a Payroll Specialist to start immediately to cover the summer period and continue working in the department thereafter.

About the Role

You will step in to relieve the regional function during the summer and continue working in the team afterwards. You will have significant independent responsibility for payroll work and need to feel confident driving the processes forward independently. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience with the AGDA system to facilitate your introduction.

You will become part of the finance department in Gothenburg, where you will also have colleagues in finance to bounce ideas off, but you will largely be responsible for payroll management independently. This role suits you if you have experience in payroll and want to develop further in a practical and responsible position.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Working with payroll management for the company's employees
• Handling personnel data, discrepancies, and supporting documents related to payroll
• Ensuring correct handling of absence, vacation, and allowances
• Producing supporting documents and reports related to the payroll process
• Providing support in simpler finance-related tasks if needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 2-3 years of working experience in payroll; additional merit if you also have finance experience
• Has relevant education in the field of payroll/finance
• Feels confident in basic payroll management and can work independently
• Is comfortable with systems and has previous experience with the AGDA system (highly meritorious)
• Has a structured and meticulous approach to work
• Is responsible and thrives in a role where you get to take ownership

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be unpretentious and flexible, with a desire to quickly get into the tasks and workflow. Working with payroll requires precision and structure. At the same time, it is important that you are communicative and not afraid to ask questions or seek support when needed. Being able to work independently while collaborating closely with the finance department is key to success.

About the Position

This is a consultancy assignment with employment through OIO for 6 months. The intention is that this will transition to permanent employment provided that all partners are satisfied with the collaboration.
