We are now looking for a therapist for Öppenhälsan in Älvsbyn. We are seeking a positive, competent, and self-reliant therapist. In Älvsbyn Municipality, we help each other and work together to achieve good results.

You will be part of the Child and Family unit. As a therapist, you will primarily work with interventions decided upon by investigating social secretaries.

Your Responsibilities

Therapy in our outpatient care is primarily about being creative and daring to think new thoughts. We work in close cooperation with various units of the social services. Based on the families' needs, we create strategies together with the families on how to work to achieve set goals. The work includes therapeutic conversations directed at both children and parents.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You are stress-resistant, responsible, and find it easy to cooperate both internally and externally. You are expected to have a professional attitude and approach, as well as the ability to see alternative solutions to problems. You have a strong interest in people and view development work as an exciting and creative challenge. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.

The work is performed in the unit's premises or, if appropriate, in the client's/family's home. We work both individually and together with another family therapist depending on the nature of the assignment.

The majority of working hours are during the day, but at certain times we also work in the evenings.

The assignment includes ongoing documentation in the journal system Pulsen/Combine. Work with external information and development work is also part of the role.

Currently, we are in an exciting development phase regarding the new SoL (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments), which may involve changes in responsibilities.

A key part of the work is collaboration with other actors, both internally within Individual and Family Care and other parts of the municipality, as well as with external actors such as schools, primary healthcare, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in family therapy with experience in including children and young people.
  • Good command of Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Class B driver's license.

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of current legislation, social services work, and therapeutic methods.
  • Experience working with goal-oriented assignments and follow-up within social services.
  • Further education in areas such as MI (Motivational Interviewing) or ABC.

You have a very good ability to cooperate and build good relationships at the workplace, with partners, and in work with families. Flexible agreement applies.

We offer a fixed-term full-time position until 2026-12-31. Start date as soon as possible or as agreed.
