We are now looking for experienced track technicians for our client with operations in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland. Here you will work in an industry with high demand and great significance for society.

Job Responsibilities

As a track technician, you work with the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway and tramway facilities. Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Maintenance of rails, sleepers, switches, and track components
• Adjustment of track geometry and ballast work
• Participation in new construction and reconstruction of tracks
• Ensuring that work is carried out according to current safety regulations
• Documentation of completed work and reporting to management

The work is performed in teams and can take place during day, night, and weekends depending on the project. Travel within Västra Götaland occurs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience working in a rail environment as a track technician or equivalent
• Track technical education or documented practice/experience
• Good understanding of safety regulations and occupational health and safety requirements
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits:

• BASÄVISTA, SoS-leader, or other track safety training
• Welding skills (thermite, arc welding, or other)
• Experience with machinery and tools within the rail sector
• Certificate for hot work
