Responsibilities

The position is a combined role as Registrar and Board Secretary. In this combined role, you ensure that the board's work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and that the authority's document handling maintains high quality. The assignment is central to ensuring our democratic processes function and that the operations can provide secure and legally sound support to the municipality's residents.

As a registrar, you are responsible for digital and physical mail opening and registration of documents. You provide support in handling comments and releasing public documents. Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for the board administration concerning the two boards belonging to the Social Welfare Sector. This means creating invitations and minutes, coordinating documents and dispatches, quality-assuring decision formulations, and acting as a key link between politics, citizens, and officials in the sector and the municipality in close collaboration with the sector manager and the board chairman. Within the sector, there is a well-established structure to follow, and you will have access to an experienced colleague for support. You will also be part of a functional group with registrars and board secretaries in the municipality.

Qualifications

You have a university education with a relevant focus, such as public administration, political science, or another university education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act. We would appreciate it if you had knowledge of and interest in the legislation governing the boards' operations.

We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working in a politically governed organization and experience with modern case and document management systems.

The position places high demands on attention to detail, sensitivity, and the ability to create and maintain good relationships in both internal and external contacts. Good communication skills, a welcoming attitude, teamwork ability, and a professional approach are prerequisites. You must have good knowledge of Swedish, good ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing, and good computer skills.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Conditions

Full-time. Fixed-term employment for one year with the possibility of extension.

Other

Selection may take place continuously during the application period. Interviews are planned for week 26 and week 28.
