Essunga Equestrian Club is looking for Riding School Manager/Instructor (The position can be split among several people)

On the outskirts of Nossebro lies our facility where, as a club, we run a riding school, offer horse boarding, and engage in club activities. We have been here since the 1970s and look forward to continuing to provide a place for everyone who wishes to experience horses and equestrian sports.

We are a small riding school with a family atmosphere. The facility includes two indoor arenas, stabling for approximately 20 horses, six outdoor boxes, a large outdoor arena, a smaller paddock, a natural trail course, and many grass pastures for the horses.

We have employed staff who, divided into different roles, conduct lessons, care for the horses, and maintain the facility. We currently have 10 lesson horses, our students range from 4 to 70+ years old, and we conduct lessons 6 days a week.

Our ambition with the riding school is to meet all students at their level and be responsive to the riders' wishes.

The position involves riding lessons, which may also include schooling and training of horses. Riding lessons must be documented in our program, Hippocrates. It is a plus if you are willing to plan and carry out extra activities on weekends approximately once a month.

Qualifications for the position

• You have a riding instructor certificate (SRL1) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and young people.

Good to know

• We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
• For permanent employment, there is a 6-month probation period.
• Working hours will be a mix of daytime and evening shifts according to a schedule.
• Salary according to agreement.
