About the Department

Hospital rehabilitation contributes to better acute care and rehabilitation for patients in Kronoberg County. We are several professions working together to meet patients' needs for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and disease prevention measures.

Our team currently consists of five speech therapists, and psychologists, social workers, dietitians, sexologists, and ergonomists also work at our unit. At the clinic, we also have colleagues in the professions of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and administrative staff.

Job Responsibilities

As a speech therapist, you work with the assessment and treatment of adult patients with swallowing difficulties, speech, language, and voice disorders, as well as reading and writing difficulties.

Our operations include both inpatient and outpatient care, which creates a dynamic and developing work environment. You will work both individually and in teams with speech therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and dietitians.

The speech therapists are based at Växjö Hospital but also provide services at Ljungby Hospital. Therefore, some work may take place in Ljungby.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist. Experience from healthcare is meritorious.

As a person, you have a good ability to independently plan and structure your work. You thrive with varied work and can be flexible in your approach. As a colleague, you are engaged and work well in collaboration with others. Teamwork is central to our way of working, so we place great importance on you as a person and your ability to collaborate.

Terms of Employment

• Salary: Monthly salary.

• Working hours: Daytime.

We plan to hold interviews during weeks 26 and 27.
