The position is divided between Turebergsskolan (60%) and Kärrdalsskolan (40%), two smaller schools with high engagement and competence.

Turebergsskolan is within walking distance from Sollentuna center and has approximately 230 students in grades F-9. The school also has an RN unit with approx. 25 students with mobility impairments, as well as municipality-wide teaching groups for approx. 40 students within the autism spectrum.

Kärrdalsskolan is a small F-6 school with approx. 240 students in 10 classes. The school is located in a residential area close to both forest and lake, and you can also teach in the school's outdoor classrooms.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher in wood and metal crafts who wants to inspire students and be an important part of their development. By involving students in the teaching, you awaken their interest and curiosity and create a learning environment that feels both exciting and innovative. In your interactions with students, you have the opportunity to grow in your professional role, and in your classroom, everyone is given the chance to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in different ways. In addition to working with students, you build good relationships with colleagues and contribute to driving the school's development forward.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Teacher degree in wood and metal crafts with eligibility for grades 3–9.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and create engagement among students.
• Self-reliant, responsible, and confident in the role of a teacher.
• Good collaboration skills and sensitivity in interactions with both students and colleagues.

Merits

• Previous experience teaching students with mobility impairments or within the autism spectrum.
• Experience working in multicultural schools.
• Knowledge and experience working with ICT/digital tools in teaching.
