About the RoleYou will step into a role where group development has a direct impact on the work environment, collaboration, and quality in a socially vital operation with 24/7 staffing. The group needs to strengthen psychological safety, improve the climate, and create better conditions for taking responsibility, reflection, and clear boundaries against negative behaviors. As a supervisor, you help the operation build a safer and more functional interaction through structured coaching and practical tools that can be used in everyday life.
You become an important dialogue partner in an environment where the work places high demands on maturity, clarity, and the ability to handle difficult situations. The setup is developed together with the operation based on the group's conditions, which gives you the opportunity to adapt the interventions so that they have a real effect. This is a role for you who want to make a concrete difference in a complex operation where a strong group climate is noticed directly in daily work.
Responsibilities- You lead structured group supervision sessions focusing on psychological safety, interaction, and responsibility-taking.
- You create space for reflection, dialogue, and collective learning within the group.
- You help the group identify, highlight, and challenge negative behavioral patterns in a constructive way.
- You provide concrete tools for communication, feedback, and conflict resolution that work in ongoing work.
- You support the group in formulating common rules of conduct and working methods that strengthen the work environment.
- You plan the intervention together with the operation based on the group's needs and the participants' different conditions.
- Documented experience in supervision, group development, or equivalent, as well as training in coaching.
- Experience of similar assignments within municipal or other public operations.
- Understanding of the social services' mission and experience working with very vulnerable target groups, mental illness, and substance abuse.
- Experience in strengthening psychological safety in groups and breaking negative patterns.
- Experience in personal development and coaching work groups towards positive change.
- Training based on Thomas Jordan's theories on workplace conflicts.
- GDQ certification.
