What can we offer you?

We are looking for you who can support students with NPD diagnoses (e.g., autism or ADHD), where structure, clarity, and relationship-building are central. It is also meritorious if you have experience handling self-care/medical interventions as we have students who need support with their diabetes. The assignments vary depending on the students' individual needs.

As a student or study assistant in our operations, you will have an important role in supporting students throughout the school day. You will be present in the classroom and contribute to creating structure, calm, and security for the students. The assignment includes providing support in social situations and during transitions between different parts of the day. You will collaborate closely with teachers, student health services, and guardians to create the best conditions for each student. If necessary, you may also handle self-care or medical interventions, depending on your competence.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are responsible, sensitive, and have a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You have experience working with children, preferably within the school system, and it is meritorious if you have knowledge of or experience with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD). You have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and thrive in a role where you need to adapt to different situations.

Gustaf Dalénskolan and the leisure center are located in the larger community of Stenstorp and are close to the sports hall, outdoor pool, school forest, etc. The school has approximately 375 students from preschool class to grade 9.

In this recruitment, we will have ongoing selection and interviews may take place during the application period.

The position may potentially be filled internally if an excess of competence is identified within the organization, in which case this recruitment will be terminated.
