Job Description

We are now looking for a preschool teacher for Olofstorpsvägen Preschool. The preschool consists of three units where children aged 1–5 have the opportunity to develop, play, and learn in a safe and inspiring environment.

At our preschool, we work based on the belief that children learn through interaction with others and that teaching should be accessible, joyful, and meaningful for all children. We place great emphasis on children's language development, communication, and participation, and we actively work to create learning environments that spark curiosity, exploration, and creativity.

As part of Bergum-Gunnilse preschools, we work based on common prioritized goal areas: accessible teaching environment, communication, as well as sustainable lifestyle and environment. Through play, movement, language, mathematics, natural science, and technology, we create conditions for children's development and learning every day.

At Olofstorpsvägen Preschool, you will meet dedicated colleagues, close cooperation between the units, and an activity characterized by development, collegial learning, and high ambition regarding the quality of education. Together, we work to give every child the best conditions to grow and succeed.

You lead the pedagogical work together with colleagues in a dedicated work team. Together you plan, implement, document, and follow up on the education based on the preschool curriculum. We believe in a way of working where collaboration, responsibility, and clear communication are a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed preschool teacher
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have good knowledge of using digital tools in work

You take responsibility for both your own and the work team's tasks and contribute to good cooperation.

You build trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are also sensitive in your approach and show respect and care for others.

You understand that children have different prerequisites and absorb knowledge in different ways. Based on this, you create a safe and developing environment where every child has the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

It is an advantage if you have worked with or have in-depth knowledge in our focus and goal areas:

• Language-developing working methods and communication
• Accessible learning environments and inclusive teaching
