Description

The Ambulance Care at Skaraborg Hospital operates 24/7, 365 days a year. We strive for continuous improvement to ensure patient safety, medical quality, accessibility, and a work environment where our employees thrive. The Ambulance Care in Skaraborg consists of six operational units: Skövde, Mölltorp, Mariestad/Hova, Skara, Falköping/Tidaholm, and Lidköping/Vara. At each unit, we work to constantly improve our professional interaction between staff, patients, and relatives. Here, all efforts and employees are equally important for the overall operation to function as well as possible. We have a good spirit in our work groups and value the safe and open climate that prevails.

The Ambulance Support Unit is a small unit with 8 positions, tasked with supporting all parts of the Ambulance Operations in Skaraborg. We collaborate closely with the Emergency Department at Skaraborg Hospital (SkaS) as well as other ambulance operations in the Region Västra Götaland (VGR).

The unit consists of an education leader, operations and vehicle technicians, a staffing coordinator, and a healthcare administrative secretary. We work with vehicles/operations, technology, medical technology, IT, staffing, and training, both on-site and digitally. We provide significant support to the unit managers and employees of the operations. We are now expanding the unit with a new position and competence. Job Responsibilities

As a Quality Coordinator, you report directly to the Unit Manager and become a key player in the overall picture for the support unit and ambulance operations. The tasks are varied but consist of three main areas: IT, PATIENT SAFETY, AND STAFFING, which requires high flexibility. You are the expert in our administrative IT systems, support unit managers in retrieving and helping to analyze results and data, and present results in a pedagogical manner. Together with the staffing coordinator, you work on staffing for both the long and short term, filling vacancies in a cost-effective manner. As the position is new, it needs to be shaped and changed based on operational needs, your own experience, and knowledge.

Examples of tasks:

• IT: Support administrative systems, overall LITA representative, statistics, data export, and data analysis; responsible for and developing the ambulance operation's information surfaces.
• Patient Safety: Document management, policies, routines, guidelines; support and sometimes drive improvement and development work; ensure compliance with routines and regulations. Process and present suggestions from the Ambulance Suggestion Box.
• Staffing: Support and, if necessary, substitute for the staffing coordinator.

Tasks may change based on operational needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with appropriate education for the assignment, who has good digital competence and finds it easy to get into new systems. You are structured, self-initiating, and have good ability to plan, prioritize, and collaborate. Knowledge in statistics, information technology, presentation skills, business monitoring, and improvement knowledge is meritorious. Experience in administrative work, preferably within healthcare, as well as experience in staffing and scheduling, is positive. You should be able to take own initiatives and work independently with assignments, while simultaneously being part of a dynamic team effort. The work involves many contact surfaces both within the operational area and outside, so good social competence and a representative appearance are essential.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
