About the position

Job Responsibilities
Your role as a Study and Career Counselor involves responsibility for guiding students in upper secondary school. Your overarching goal is to strengthen students' decision-making competence, promote good student health, and challenge prejudices regarding future choices. The work is varied and combines individual guidance through motivational conversations about future plans and study techniques with group guidance and teaching about the labor market, professions, and the education system.
Finally, you contribute to the school's strategic development by actively participating in the Student Health Team (SHT).
Qualifications
You hold a university degree from the Study and Career Counseling program. You have good digital competence and communicate well both orally and in writing. Previous experience as a Study and Career Counselor (SYV) or good knowledge of the specific tasks of Upper Secondary Schools regarding study and career counseling is highly meritorious.
As a person, you are relationship-building and have a natural ability to build trust with students and colleagues. You work in a structured manner and have the drive to independently move processes forward. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, you have strong collaboration skills, are communicative, and can easily adapt your message to different target groups.
