At the service office in Helsingborg, we are approximately 22 employees and are part of the Helsingborg office area. We work with a service-oriented approach where you and your colleagues share a common responsibility for your tasks and learning. We actively work on continuous improvements, and it is part of the role to contribute to the development of the operations.

Main Responsibilities

As a Service Officer, you provide fast and professional service by answering questions from private individuals and businesses. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the e-services of the cooperating authorities and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your interaction to the customer, and have a pedagogical approach.

In your customer meetings, you have support from the various authorities' IT systems. In addition to introduction and training, time is set aside every day to familiarize yourself with the information you need to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations.

You may also be required to work at other service offices within the region, sometimes with short notice.

Qualifications

You are driven by providing our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct meetings with customers from different backgrounds and with varying functional abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is quick to absorb new knowledge.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university education of at least 80 credits/120 hp, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
  • Worked for at least two years within the last 5 years in a service profession where you have informed and guided customers in person.

Furthermore, you must have the following abilities:

  • Quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner.
  • Map out the customer's needs by asking questions and listening actively.
  • Communicate orally and in writing in Swedish.
  • Communicate orally in English.
  • Adapt your working method to the varying needs of customers.
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously.
  • Contribute positively to the work group's results and collaboration.

Additionally, the following is meritorious:

  • Experience of working with physical customer meetings within one of our cooperating authorities or another state authority.
  • Previous experience as a Service Officer within Statens Servicecenter.

Other Information

The position is a fixed-term appointment (100%) until 2026-11-30.

Desired start date: August 17.

We do not offer remote work options.

This employment requires a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. As an employee, you may also be conscripted for war service based on the needs of the total defense.
