Description of duties
We are looking for you as a French teacher for grades 7–9.
Fridhemsskolan is a lower secondary school with approximately 200 students. Each student has their own laptop, and we work with the learning platform SchoolSoft.
You work in work teams and are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching according to the steering documents. You are also a mentor for students. We see mentoring as an important part of the teacher's role.
You have good pedagogical skills and can inspire and engage students in learning based on their different needs and vary your teaching. You have a positive view of people and know that every child has strong sides, which you also focus on in contact with the children and their parents. You place great emphasis on building relationships with the students. You also see the importance of creating good relationships with guardians and colleagues. You are clear and transparent in your communication and have the ability to motivate and enthuse students to acquire new knowledge. You are driven by collaboration and communication with other people with the goal of constantly improving and developing the students' learning process. Working with digital tools is seen by you as a natural part of teaching, as well as continuously following up and documenting the students' work.

Requirements: The position requires a teaching license in French for grades 7–9. If you are currently studying to become a teacher, we would prefer that you instead attach certificates of study for courses completed so far. Upon employment, you are required to present an extract from the police criminal record register according to the Education Act (2010:800 Chapter 2, Section 31).
Other merits: It is meritorious if you have worked with similar assignments within the school. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, where collaboration and initiative are important traits, as well as a genuine interest in children and young people.
The position is a fixed-term appointment of 24% with a start date of 2026-08-12 to 2027-06-17 with on-site teaching. Interviews are conducted continuously, so do not hesitate to submit your application. Consequently, the position may be filled before the application period ends.
