HR Coordinator – Recruitment (Fixed-term)

The mission of the HR unit focuses on facilitating and creating the prerequisites for our managers to work with recruitment and employee issues in a way that contributes to motivation and joy of work in our organization. We support our managers with structure, methods, and assessment in accordance with Region Västra Götaland's (VGR) recruitment guidelines.
The HR unit within Facilities, Support and Services consists of an HR Director, HR Partners, HR Strategists, HR Specialists, and an HR Coordinator. The position is a fixed-term contract of approximately 1 year, which may be extended.
What the role entails
As an HR Coordinator within recruitment, your primary responsibility will be to provide support in the recruitment processes for employees within the organization. You will primarily support managers during the initial stages, defining job profiles, creating job advertisements, scheduling, as well as coaching in competency-based recruitment and recruitment administration in our system, Varbi.
The recruitment team also includes two HR Specialists who work with executive and specialist recruitment within the administration. You will collaborate closely with them, sharing experiences and perspectives.
Furthermore, you will work with employment administration, be responsible for contacting universities of applied sciences to plan LIA (Work-integrated learning) placements within the organization, and coordinate and participate in industry days and job fairs for students. In your role, you may also participate in the administration's volume and summer recruitment, as well as other ongoing projects related to early talent acquisition and networking.
You contribute to improving our HR work and are responsible for several of our administrative tasks, ensuring efficient handling and adherence to processes and methods in the area.
Your main areas of responsibility are:
- Recruitment administration, job profiling, advertising, and participation in related projects.
- Contact and guidance regarding processes and competency-based recruitment for the organization's managers.
- Document handling, employment administration, etc.
The position is located in central Gothenburg at Regionens Hus, where we work in modern activity-based offices. Travel within the region is included in the role; where possible, we use public transportation.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in HR. You bring experience within HR with a focus on recruitment and HR administration, or alternatively, experience in a leadership role. It is an advantage if you have worked in a large organization and if you have experience from the service industry. A strong interest and commitment to recruitment issues are crucial for the role.
You thrive with both administrative and service-oriented/consultative tasks, learn new systems easily, and see opportunities where AI can help us improve our work. You have the ability to handle multiple cases and processes in parallel and create efficient working methods. A driver's license is meritorious.
To succeed and thrive in the role, you need to:
- Be relationship-oriented, naturally build networks, and adapt to the needs of the business.
- Be meticulous, responsible, and proactive.
- Have excellent communication skills in both speech and writing.
- Enjoy presenting new working methods, coaching, and handling questions in various contexts.
