Educator / Resource Person at Blåklockan Preschool Cooperative

Scope: 100% Full-time (50% as a resource person, 50% as an educator)

Duration: 3-month probation period, fixed-term employment with the possibility of permanent employment.

Blåklockan is a parent cooperative with space for approximately 20 children aged 1–5 years. We are housed in a villa with its own kitchen where meals are prepared from scratch, located in Arjeplog. The preschool is situated in the Öberget residential area, featuring a nice outdoor yard, close to forests, nature, and a playground.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who want to work closely with a preschool-aged child as a resource person to provide individual support. You will support the pedagogical activities, children's play and activities, and assist during nap times and meals. The child is at the center of your work, and you contribute to creating joy around play and creativity.

The role is structured so that the need for a resource person takes priority first during the day, after which you work with the entire group of children. We value a positive, engaged, and flexible personality. During the recruitment process, we place great emphasis on your personal suitability and how well you fit into the team. Experience is not the most important factor; rather, we are interested in your attitude and drive.

About the team and work environment

The team consists of five people, including you. The children are divided into groups for 1–2 year olds and 3–5 year olds, where we prioritize high staff density. You will have close collaboration with the principal, who also works in the children's group, as well as with the board, which ensures short decision-making paths. We use the TYRA app for communication and documentation.

Our values

Blåklockan has been in Arjeplog for 30 years. As a parent cooperative, the staff holds the pedagogical responsibility, while engaged parents handle practical and administrative tasks outside of daily operations. The cooperative is run on a Christian foundation, meaning our value-based work is based on the Preschool Curriculum, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and a Christian value system. We see every child as unique and valuable as they are, and we aim to convey joy, security, and treat others as we would like to be treated.
