About the School

International English School (IES) in Södertälje is a comprehensive school covering grades F-9 with approximately 770 students.

Qualifications

We are currently looking for a subject teacher who can teach English for grades 6-9.

The position includes shared mentorship duties. You have a positive view of people and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher here, you find it fun, stimulating, and developmental to teach students from various countries and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites and abilities.

• You have a teaching license with subject competence in English.
• You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching, and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• You are a team player and value collaboration within your work teams.
• You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• You take initiative and have clear leadership in the classroom.
• You are clear and concise in your communication and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to acquire new knowledge.
• You have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
