Responsibilities

As a traveling service technician, you will perform service and assembly of stationary and vehicle-mounted scales with ancillary equipment, as well as install hydraulic and load cell-based scales on larger vehicles such as wheel loaders and material handlers. The work involves metrology, and your work is precise, where you will eventually become accredited in calibrating scales. In this role, you will be part of a team with other traveling service technicians who collaborate closely with the support department, product specialists, and the after-sales manager.

You will primarily work in your district consisting of Västra Götaland, Jönköping, Halland, and Skåne, but travel to other areas in Sweden will occur as needed. Approximately 140-180 overnight stays per year are expected, and you will regularly be away for several weeks at a time (though normally not over weekends). You are offered a service vehicle with home garage parking, per diem, travel compensation, and a flex bank where you can choose between payment or extra days off.

• Service and assembly of stationary and vehicle-mounted scales with ancillary equipment, as well as installation of hydraulic and load cell-based scales on larger vehicles
• Precise work, eventually becoming accredited in calibrating scales
• Team with other traveling service technicians in close collaboration with the support department, product specialists, and after-sales manager
• Work primarily takes place in one district, but work in other areas occurs as needed
• Approximately 140-180 overnight stays per year, regularly for several weeks at a time

Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes

• Completed upper secondary education in a relevant field, such as mechanics or vehicles
• Experience working with mechanics and hydraulics involving installation, service, and maintenance
• Experience working with heavy industrial scales in the field, either stationary or vehicle-mounted, is an advantage
• Category B driver's license; Category CE driver's license is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English

You are a person who takes responsibility for your tasks, their execution, and ensures they are completed on time. You see the value in planning and driving your work forward and ask for help when needed. Since you understand the importance of structure and order in your work, you are methodical, systematic, and plan tasks before starting. In the role of a traveling service technician, you talk to many customers daily and are happy to take the first step in a conversation. You have good communication skills, are comfortable with other people, and feel relaxed in social situations.

Start: According to agreement Location: Borås, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Mariestad, Skövde, and Ulricehamn are preferred, but nearby towns also work since the role is traveling and includes home garage parking Salary: According to agreement
