Who are we?

Mössebergsskolan is a three-stream school for grades F-6, located on the slope of Mösseberg with walking distance to the Transport Centre. The school has just over 500 students. It is situated close to the Mösseberg outdoor area and has its own school forest. Our vision is "The Hopeful School," where future optimism, resources, and environment are three important components.

What can we offer you?

As a music teacher at Mössebergsskolan, you will teach students in grades 1–6. You will teach grades 4–6 in half-classes. You will also work some time as a teaching resource.

There are two other music teachers at the school. Together with them, you will be part of the school's culture group, which plans school graduations and other celebrations. The school has a comprehensive plan for music education across all grades, which will serve as a helpful guide for your planning. Mössebergsskolan has a well-equipped music room.

What are we looking for in you?

You are a trained music teacher for primary school, or have other education and/or experience that we assess as equivalent.

As a person, you are positive and solution-focused, have good collaboration skills, and can work both structured and independently when the situation requires it. Group dynamics are important to us, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for colleagues who want to be part of our competent and driven staff.

We expect you to have many good pedagogical ideas regarding the design of teaching, with the students' best interests always in focus.

Information

We conduct ongoing selection, and interviews may be held during the advertising period. The position may potentially be filled internally if an excess of competence is identified within the organization, in which case this recruitment will be terminated.

If offered employment, you must provide a current extract from the National Police Board's criminal record register for work in schools or preschools in Sweden (RPS 442.5 2008-06-18/1). You can find the current form on the Police website.
