Since December 1, 2021, we at Täby Centrum Doktorn have been responsible for the First Line's Extended Interventions for children and young people with mental health issues. We are responsible for all children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17 years and 11 months who are registered at a primary care center in Täby (excluding Familjeläkarna in Arninge) or Vallentuna.

Issues covered by the First Line's mandate include, for example, mild to moderate forms of anxiety, depression, defiant/acting-out behaviors, sleep problems, phobias, OCD, and similar conditions.

The overarching purpose of the First Line's mandate is to provide early interventions and prevent the development of further mental health issues.

Our mandate also includes close collaboration with our partners, such as schools, school health services, primary care centers, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS/BUP), and other relevant stakeholders.

We also offer group therapy and lectures for children and parents.

We are a wonderful team consisting of 4 psychologists, 1 psychotherapist, and 2 counselors. We are now looking for a new colleague who is curious about joining our team.

The position is a fixed-term employment with a possibility of extension.

Competency Requirements

• Licensed healthcare counselor (curator) with a CBT focus, or alternatively, a licensed psychologist.
• We prefer candidates with experience in child psychiatric work and familiarity with the medical record system TakeCare.
• We are looking for a professional with a big heart and strong commitment to their patients.
• You thrive in a team environment and enjoy collaborating closely with other agencies involved or potentially involved in the child's care.
