About the role

We are looking for a labor market consultant (arbetskonsulent) for a new unit where labor market activities, integration, social services, and adult education collaborate around individuals who are far from the labor market and need coordinated support to approach work, studies, or other labor market initiatives.

The target group consists of people receiving social assistance who, according to the new Social Services Act (SoL), are subject to activity requirements. At the same time, we also meet individuals who need coordinated interventions to approach work or studies.

The unit works in a cross-professional manner with shared responsibility for the individual's planning and progression. As a labor market consultant, you play a central role in contributing your competence to support participants with complex and often combined needs. It is about creating structure, building motivation, and working long-term together with the individual towards increased independence and self-sufficiency.

In the role of labor market consultant, you will:

• Work in a cross-professional team and contribute to a joint mapping of the individual's needs, resources, and obstacles
• Plan and conduct group activities
• Implement practice and work-preparatory measures
• Participate in developing and following up on individual plans towards work, studies, or other progression
• Work closely with the individual through motivational interviewing and support in change processes
• Collaborate with internal and external actors, such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, healthcare, and other relevant parties
• Document, follow up, and analyze the individual's progression and interventions
• Be the contact person for your own caseload
• Actively contribute to developing working methods and structure in the new unit

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated as an occupational therapist, behavioral scientist, or has another university or college education assessed as equivalent
• Has education in IPS (Individual Placement and Support), SE (Supported Education), or SEd
• Has education in Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Has education or knowledge about the BIP study and its results
• Has experience working with individuals who are far from the labor market
• Has good ability to work structured while adapting to changing contexts
• Is experienced in documentation and working in digital systems
