About the roleAs an Account Manager at Gekomm AB in Gothenburg, you have a clear mission: to create business, build long-term customer relationships, ensure good profitability, and reach – or exceed – your individual budget.
You work through the entire sales process and are responsible for ensuring that deals are not just closed – but closed correctly. This means that you:
Work with both your own prospecting and meetings from the meeting booking team
Drive customer dialogues with clear structure and business focus
Analyze customer needs and present relevant solutions
Ensure that deals maintain the right quality, terms, and margin
Take responsibility for the entire deal – from the first meeting to contract and follow-up
The role combines proactive new customer acquisition with the development of existing customer relationships, always with a focus on growth, quality, and long-term sustainability.
Your responsibilitiesIn the role of Account Manager, you will:
Drive B2B deals with a focus on profitability, quality, and long-term sustainability
Conduct and follow up on customer meetings with clear structure
Take full responsibility for business outcomes from both your own and booked meetings
Ensure that every deal is executed correctly (right decision-maker, right prerequisites, right timing)
Work actively with pipeline, follow-up, and business planning
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality in delivery
We are looking for you who understand sales for real – not just like selling.
You are:
Self-driven, structured, and goal-oriented
Comfortable in customer dialogues and business meetings
Curious, business-oriented, and solution-focused
Competitive and motivated by clear goals, KPIs, and results
Good understanding of the entire sales process - from prospecting to closing and follow-up
We would appreciate if you have:
Experience in B2B sales (at least 1–3 years)
Experience within telecom, IT, or a related industry (meritorious/strong plus)
Documented ability to drive deals from start to finish
Understanding of business logic, margin, and customer value
