Are you a trained social worker, psychologist, nurse, nursing assistant, or occupational therapist with a basic psychotherapy education equivalent to 45 ECTS credits (so-called Step 1)? Then you have the opportunity to work in an engaged, knowledgeable, and positive team at the County Clinic for Child and Family Health. Organizationally, you will belong to Child and Adolescent Health. Within the county clinic, twenty-seven employees currently work in the professional categories of psychologist, occupational therapist, CBT therapist, administrator, nurse, and nursing assistant.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who have relevant education in the field, for example, Step 1 training in CBT or equivalent. Experience working with children and young people is an advantage.

We will place great emphasis on personal competencies. As a person, you are structured and have the ability to plan and organize your work in an efficient manner. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks while also being quick to take initiative when needs arise. The work involves collaboration with several different actors, which requires good teamwork skills and that you contribute to a good work climate.

What you will work with

You will meet children and young people aged 6–17, as well as their parents. The focus is on preventive work and early interventions. As an employee/therapist within the unit, you will work with mapping, assessment, and treatment based on incoming referrals. To better cover the needs of the county, we are increasingly working on the development of group therapy and digital interventions. You will collaborate with the child or young person's other networks and important care partners. The work is largely carried out independently. You will receive professional supervision in groups, both external and internal.

The employees are located in Piteå, Luleå, Boden, Gällivare, and Kiruna.

Information about the position

We offer you a permanent full-time position during daytime hours. Place of work according to agreement, with an start date of August 15, 2026. Selection and interviews take place continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
