Watercolor Painting Instructor Needed in Skövde

Medborgarskolan Region Väst, with its regional office in Gothenburg, covers Västra Götaland and Halland and has over 45 activity locations throughout the region. We are a non-profit association that, in addition to traditional adult education, also operates schools, corporate training, and activities within the labor market area. Medborgarskolan Region Väst has a turnover of approx. 185 million SEK and employs approx. 200 people.

Medborgarskolan in Skövde is now looking for an engaged and inspiring instructor in watercolor painting. You will work a few hours one evening per week or during longer sessions as intensive weekend courses.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who lives in Skövde or the surrounding area. You are knowledgeable in watercolor painting, enjoy teaching, and have the ability to teach others in a pedagogical manner. The teaching is primarily directed at young people and adults – from beginner to intermediate levels.

You have documented education and pedagogical experience (or pedagogical training) to be able to teach mixed groups from beginner to intermediate levels. The teaching is conducted in Swedish.

As a person, you are positive, receptive, and structured. You strive for high quality and satisfied course participants, enjoy meeting many new people, and are good at creating and maintaining relationships. In addition to teaching, some administration of digital attendance lists is also included.

Job Duties and Conditions

Working hours are in the evenings, approx. 2–3 hours one evening per week for 6–7 weeks, or longer sessions as weekend courses. The employment is an object-based employment, meaning you are employed for the duration of the course you lead.
