The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH) is Sweden's leading knowledge center for sports, performance development, physical activity, and health. We conduct high-quality, socially relevant research with a focus on the human body in motion. We educate teachers in physical education and health, as well as coaches, health scientists, behavioral scientists, sports and health managers, sports scientists, and researchers. At GIH, 160 employees and 1,400 students work and study. The university college is located in central Stockholm, close to Stockholms Stadion and a large sports and outdoor recreation area.

The Educational and Research Administration Department, part of the administration, consists of 11 people. We work with admissions, graduations, study documentation (Ladok), study and career guidance, student exchange, and support for students, boards, and GIH's departments.

We are now strengthening the part of the department that supports the university college's Educational and Research Board.

Job Description

As a Case Officer, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Educational and Research Board in ensuring the quality and development of the university college's educational and course curricula. The role involves providing qualified operational support to the board, curriculum committees, and departments during both the preparation and decision-making phases. Part of the job also includes conducting training within the area. In 2025, GIH transitioned to using Ladok as its educational database and planning tool. As a Case Officer for educational and course curricula, you will be a key part of the working group implementing this system.

You will work in close collaboration with several colleagues, the curriculum committee, and maintain continuous cooperation with the three departments and other functions within the university college.

Depending on your skills and interests, other educational administrative tasks and other duties within the department's area of responsibility may also be included.

Qualifications

To be eligible for employment, you must have:

  • An academic degree that the employer deems relevant
  • Experience in processing educational and/or course curricula, as well as knowledge of the relevant regulations
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to express yourself well, both orally and in writing, in Swedish and English

Duration/Working Hours

The position is a permanent full-time role as a Case Officer, with an initial six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible, according to agreement.
