As an Operational Buyer, you will become a key player in a cross-functional team with many contact points and great opportunities to influence working methods and processes.

About the role

As an Operational Buyer, you work operationally with procurement and order management within Husqvarna's global IT and digitalization function. The role is broad and combines administrative tasks with analysis, communication, and the development of procurement processes. You have daily dialogue with suppliers, internal customers, and other functions within the organization.

The position suits you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, like structure and prioritization, and are able to adapt your communication depending on the recipient.

Your responsibilities

• Placing and processing purchase orders
• Following up on deliveries, timelines, and deviations
• Administrative procurement work
• Sending and following up on consultant and supplier inquiries
• Working to shorten lead times and streamline processes
• Building simple analyses and reports, primarily in Excel
• Preparing and holding presentations for internal stakeholders
• Contributing to category analysis and improvement work regarding procurement

You will become part of an engaged procurement team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. The team works closely together locally as well as internationally. The role involves many contact points and requires both analytical ability and good communication skills.

As an Operational Buyer, we are looking for you who:

• Have relevant post-secondary education, for example in procurement, logistics, economics, or similar
• Have some form of work experience, preferably within service, administration, or procurement
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
• Have good digital skills and find it easy to get into new systems
• Thrive in a role with many parallel tasks and contacts

Merits

• Experience in operational procurement or supply chain
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Swedish language skills (verbal and written)
• Interest in IT/technology and understanding of technical products
