Description

Do you want to help create good conditions for learning? We are now looking for a certified teacher for grades 4–6 at Kärraskolan, with qualifications to teach Mathematics, Swedish, and Science (NO). The position is a fixed-term employment for the autumn term of 2026.

Kärraskolan is a school for everyone – where passion and knowledge are at the center. It is a grades F–9 school located in central Kärra. Approximately 820 students aged 6–16 and about 100 staff members are part of our community. Our goal is for Kärraskolan to be a school where students, staff, and parents thrive and share a common responsibility for creating good conditions for learning.

As a teacher with us, you will become part of a community where we together create a safe, stable, and pleasant school environment to provide the best possible opportunities for learning. Our students should experience meaningful contexts, develop good relationships, feel joy, and a sense of belonging. All staff at the school are involved in the students' development, and our ultimate goal is to provide high-quality education that gives students knowledge, security, and a stable platform for the rest of their lives.

All students at Kärraskolan have a digital tool, and it is a given that you, as a teacher, are interested in using digital tools in your teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 4–6 and qualified to teach Swedish, Mathematics, and Science (NO).

Previous experience in the profession is meritorious.

As a person, you are flexible, structured, and collaborative. You have the ability to build good relationships and maintain a positive attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have a burning interest in creating the best possible teaching by designing good learning environments and adapting the teaching to individual needs.

You inspire and engage students and meet them based on their individual prerequisites. Obviously, you have a positive attitude and enjoy collaborating to ensure equal education for our students.

To ensure that you, as a recent graduate, get the best possible start in your profession, you will be included in Gothenburg Primary School Administration's introduction program for new teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other new graduates and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
