The Education Administration in the City of Mölndal is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, adult education, study and vocational guidance, municipal university college, and the municipal activity responsibility. Our vision is to be a leading educational provider with an attractive, high-quality offering. This means developing a modern and competitive upper secondary and adult segment, as well as a university college, in close collaboration with local and regional working life. One of our most important tasks is also to create opportunities for young adults to establish themselves on the labor market.
This position is at Mölndal Adult Education, which offers a variety of courses and programs within SFI (Swedish for Immigrants), basic and upper secondary adult education, University College, and special education for adults. We offer both educational packages and standalone courses. We are now looking for a teacher of Swedish as a second language for our combined programs.
The position is a fixed-term holiday cover at 75% during the period 2026-08-03 to 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a teacher of Swedish as a second language who will be responsible for teaching in our combined programs. We are a wonderful team, which earned us the title "Team of the Year" in the City of Mölndal 2025! You enjoy collaborating with colleagues in the Swedish language team as well as with vocational teachers, with the student's best interests always in focus.
The job involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on national guidelines and goals, as well as on a scientific basis and proven experience. This includes teaching, student follow-up, and grading. You are expected to contribute to developing and improving teaching methods and forms of collaboration between vocational language and vocational subjects. You will work subject-integrated together with a vocational teacher. You will plan lessons together, where you play an important and supportive role.
We are therefore looking for you who have experience from integrated teaching and have a genuine interest in this working method. We work, among other things, with language-developing approaches, collegial learning, and have some international exchanges at the teacher level.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are qualified and licensed to teach Swedish as a second language at the upper secondary level.
It is meritorious if you have taught within adult education and also have experience of combined programs.
You should feel comfortable working with various digital tools and continuously follow your students' development and progression. Organizing, planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on your work is a given for you. We place great emphasis on your communicative skills, that you enjoy teamwork, and can relate to other people in a listening and flexible manner. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions and have the interest, willingness, and effort to work in a solution-oriented manner. You have an open and positive attitude, with the student's needs as your starting point.
We view it positively if you are also licensed in psychology or social studies at the upper secondary level.
