Stockholm – our capital city filled with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone who lives here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and different with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Hägersten-Älvsjö is one of 11 district administrations in Stockholm City, with approximately 3,000 employees. Today, we are one of the city's largest districts with around 130,000 residents. In Hägersten-Älvsjö, you are close to the city, public transport, and nature. We offer a dynamic workplace with opportunities for you to develop in your role.
Welcome to us
The Citizen Service Unit falls under the Department of Society and Service and consists of eight operational areas: community guidance, transport service for people with disabilities (färdtjänst), support for relatives, budget and debt counseling, consumer guidance, holiday jobs, parental support, and the Leisure Bank. A total of 21 employees work at the unit, led by a unit manager. Our mission is to provide residents in the district with accessible and high-quality service.
At the Älvsjö Citizen Service Office, an engaged team consisting of five community guides, two transport service case officers, and a team leader works together. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team, as one of our transport service case officers is moving on to new challenges.
What we offer
We offer flexible working hours, the possibility of holiday exchange, wellness benefits, winter and summer working hours, and a favorable occupational pension.
Your role
As a transport service case officer, you are responsible for all administration related to transport services, including statistics, shredding, and archiving. You process incoming applications for transport services and distribute completed applications to other community guides. The role also includes administrative tasks such as ordering and handling purchase and supplier invoices. As needed, you staff the Citizen Service Office together with a community guide.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who have experience in processing transport service cases, have previously worked in the economic and purchasing system Agresso, have experience with administrative tasks, and possess good knowledge of the Office package.
Personal qualities
Eligibility for transport service applies to those who, due to a disability, have significant difficulties moving around independently or traveling by public transport. You will meet people of all ages with different backgrounds and disabilities. Therefore, we see that you are secure and stable, have a genuine interest in people, and an empathetic approach. In this role, you are expected to be self-reliant, taking responsibility and driving your tasks forward. We also see that you adapt easily to changing circumstances, seeing opportunities in change, and collaborating with the work group to develop and improve our operations. You need to be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing, as the transport service investigation is a very important part of the decision-making basis.
Other
The position is located in Älvsjö, where you share an office space with the community guides and transport service case officers in an open-plan office.
Since the unit offers services to residents in the Hägersten-Älvsjö district administration, some work may take place outside office hours, but no later than 19:00 and only on occasional occasions per term.
We recruit without a cover letter in this recruitment. When assessing your application, we will only rely on your CV and a number of questions you will answer when applying for the position. We request that you answer the questions concretely and concisely, and that there is a clear link between your answers and your CV.
