Are you the one who can help us use AI in an ethical, secure, and business-beneficial way? We want to create customer value and save time in everyday life using AI, both for ourselves and for our customers. Our main product at Genesis IT is iFenix, a proprietary cloud-based business system for retail stores and chains. We now want to take the next step and find where AI can make the most difference, both in iFenix and in our internal tools and support processes. Can you help us lead this journey from idea to finished solution? This is not a role where you belong to a specific department; you are expected to drive the work independently and work across the entire organization. You move naturally between development, testing, support, product/innovation, and other operations.

In short, we want you to:

• Help us identify AI potential. Where in iFenix and our tools can AI create the greatest impact?
• Make it concrete through rapid POCs/prototypes, measurable benefits, and decision support.
• Set the direction through working methods, prioritizations, and mapping the path forward.
• Get it into production, from testing to robust implementation in our environment with continuous deliveries.

We take responsibility for sensitive information

We have our own local AI environment for more sensitive questions (e.g., code), and we have clear guidelines on what is allowed/not allowed to share. You will help shape how we use AI in a safe and professional manner.

Your background

You are self-sufficient and thrive when the task is "here is the goal, find the best way there".

We believe you have:

• Documented experience of AI implementation in real systems.
• Ability to translate needs into solutions (from problem to model/tool to implementation to benefit).
• Practical experience with modern AI building blocks (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, API integrations, etc.).
• Good technical understanding of system environments and how to get things into production and maintenance.

Terms of employment

• Workplace: Company premises in Luleå
• Full-time, flexible working hours, weekdays between 06:00 - 18:00
• Permanent employment, probation period of 6 months
• Fixed salary with individual salary setting
• Start date according to agreement
