Description

Slottsbergsskolan is a new school that opened in the autumn of 2020. From autumn 2025, we will be a preschool to year 5 school (F-5), growing gradually from the bottom up with one grade level per year. There is a "builder's spirit" that permeates our operations, where we learn and develop together. We work based on grade levels, which are then divided into smaller groups according to the students' needs and the facilities the grade level utilizes in its hub. We have various rooms and group rooms available in each hub. Slottsbergsskolan also has access to a gym, school library, craft rooms, and a room for creative and art work. Our meals are prepared on-site in the school cafeteria, and the school is located near the Ruddalen outdoor area.

At Slottsbergsskolan, the student is at the center of everything. All staff members work together to build a common value base and school culture from a salutogenic perspective.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for two certified teachers in preschool to year 3 (F-3) with broad eligibility. It is an advantage if you are qualified to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics. At Slottsbergsskolan, teachers follow their students from preschool class (age 6) to year 3 to create the best possible conditions for our students.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to conduct teaching both in groups and independently. You will collaborate closely with a colleague, and together you will have mentorship responsibility for all students in the preschool class.

Furthermore, we actively work with systematic quality development, a task in which all staff are expected to participate.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in F-3 and who feel confident in your role based on the curriculum documents. We seek candidates with broad eligibility, and experience teaching Swedish and mathematics is an advantage.

Previous experience as a teacher is advantageous, but we are also interested in recent graduates. To ensure you get the best possible start in your career as a recent graduate, you will participate in the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for new teachers. This introduction provides you with a network of other new teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative in carrying out tasks and achieving goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you foster a respectful working climate. You are pedagogical and gain energy from contributing to others' learning, creating conditions for learning to take place. We also seek someone who is flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and new information. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role, basing your interactions on the equal value of all individuals and creating a positive atmosphere.

We welcome your application!

In this recruitment process, we will not request a cover letter. Instead, applicants will answer a series of questions where we ask you to describe your competence in the requested area.

The position is subject to the condition that it is not filled due to internal reasons.

Other Information

As an employee in our administration, you are offered various benefits, including a wellness allowance, a bicycle benefit, and employee support.

According to the Swedish Education Act, extracts from the police record must be presented by individuals before they are employed in preschool activities, schools, and school-age care. You can order this from the Police website.

Regarding this recruitment, we have decided on recruitment channels and therefore decline further offers of competence mediation, advertising, and recruitment assistance.

We only accept applications via our recruitment system in accordance with GDPR.
