We are now looking for an engaged and experienced chef for Tavernan at Hotel Rival.

About Us

Hotel Rival is a personal, four-star hotel located at Mariatorget on Södermalm in Stockholm. At the heart of the hotel lies Tavernan – our lively restaurant and meeting place where hotel guests, Stockholmers, and international visitors meet for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails.

Tavernan's concept is built on well-prepared, high-quality food in a relaxed and international setting. Here we serve a mix of classic and modern dishes with influences from around the world, always with a focus on good service, quality, and a warm atmosphere. The pace is sometimes high, and no two days are alike.

About the Role

We are looking for you who are a trained chef and have at least five years of work experience in the restaurant industry. You are confident in your professional role, work in a structured manner, and have a genuine interest in cooking and ingredients.

Experience with purchasing and ordering is considered an asset.

Working hours are scheduled for all days of the week and include both lunch and evening shifts.

The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in an à la carte kitchen
• Is stress-resistant, flexible, and responsible
• Thrives in a team environment
• Is fluent in Swedish and/or English
• Has experience with purchasing and ordering (preferred)
