We are currently looking for an Accountant to join an established player in property services and management. The company operates nationwide and combines broad expertise in both technical and financial management. There are ample resources to handle large and complex assignments, while the working style is characterized by proximity, flexibility, and a strong customer focus.

In central Gothenburg, there is a specialized and experienced team within property management where both technical and financial competencies work together. You will become part of an organization with long industry experience and will join an established management team that works closely with clients, taking overall responsibility for financial management.

About the role

As an Accountant, you are responsible for the overall financial picture of your own customer portfolio. This position suits you if you enjoy working independently, have good structure, and appreciate the combination of finance, customer relations, and administration.

You work broadly with everything from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing and advisory services, while maintaining close and continuous dialogue with both clients and colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Supplier and customer accounts
• Payments and reconciliations
• Financial reporting and follow-up
• Budgeting
• Fee and payroll administration
• Administration of apartment registers
• VAT reporting
• Year-end closing and annual reports
• Tax returns (VAT, employer, income)
• Customer responsibility and financial advisory
• Ongoing customer contact and follow-up

This is a direct recruitment, meaning StudentConsulting handles the recruitment process and the employment is directly with the client. The position is a parental leave cover starting in August, or as agreed, and runs until October 2027. There are good opportunities for extension or permanent employment after the cover period.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least upper secondary education in economics
• Has at least two years of experience in independent work within accounting and financial management
• Is structured, detail-oriented, and accustomed to taking responsibility
• Thrives in a role with many contact points and appreciates building long-term customer relationships
• Has good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
• Has experience with accounting systems such as Fortnox, REAL, or Capego
• Communicates well in Swedish (both written and spoken) and has basic knowledge of English

Merits if you:

• Have worked with financial management for housing cooperatives or community associations.
