About the position
We are now looking for you who want to contribute to the school program activities at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities
The Content and Learning department brings together many of the functions that create the museum's public offering. On the department, museum educators are responsible for a reflective and multifaceted educational activity. The work involves assisting the museum educators with administration as well as conducting tours and other educational programs. The position is located in Gothenburg.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Enrolled at a university or college during the autumn term of 2026 with the intention of continuing studies for at least three more terms.
- At least two terms of higher education studies in one of the following subjects: pedagogy, history, religious studies, social studies, craft, aesthetic subjects, ethnology, global studies, or alternatively four terms on a cultural studies program, subject teacher program with a focus on history, or equivalent.
Meritorious
- Practical pedagogical experience.
- Previous experience working with children and young people.
- Interest in and knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English.
- Experience from the cultural heritage sector.
- Good administrative skills.
Personal qualities
- You enjoy telling stories and have the ability to engage, bring to life, and inspire.
- You are creative and good at meeting groups based on their different conditions and needs.
- You are good at communicating and collaborating in a team, but also working independently.
- You are good at prioritizing when the workload is high.
Personal qualities are crucial for the implementation of the tasks, so we place great emphasis on these.
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English and Swedish is a prerequisite.
Employment terms
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Working hours: Daytime. 10 hours per week, mornings Tuesday - Friday.
