The Good Talents is a non-profit association that empowers young people through programs in leadership and social entrepreneurship. Through our work, we aim to contribute to a society where more young people have the opportunity to take a place, develop, and influence their future, while the labor market better utilizes the diversity of talent available in Sweden.
The role entails overall responsibility for operations, strategy, HR, and finance, as well as driving the organization's continued development, growth, and scaling in collaboration with the team and board. A key part of the role is shaping the organization's long-term direction through the development of a new five-year strategy.
The secretariat currently consists of six employees, 18 part-time youth leaders, and four interns per semester. Many structures and processes are already in place, but the organization is in a development and scaling phase that requires both management and continued building.
You will help shape this development together with an engaged team, a strong network, and a growing community of young people, alumni, and partners. The role is suitable for you who want to combine strategic leadership with social impact and entrepreneurial drive.
Responsibilities
The role of Executive Director entails overall responsibility for leading, developing, and further developing the organization's operations in close collaboration with the board and team. You are responsible for translating strategy into execution and ensuring that the operations achieve set goals, results, and impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing the organization's goals and strategy together with the board and team, and ensuring implementation, goal management, and follow-up.
- Overall operational responsibility for the operations in line with TGT's values, including follow-up of results and impact.
- Responsible for quarterly reporting to the board, including finance, operations, and strategic development.
- Contributing to strengthening TGT's position, visibility, and long-term development through strategic collaborations, communication, and relationship building.
- Driving and developing a new five-year strategy with a focus on long-term development, clear direction, and sustainable change in collaboration with the team and board.
- Serving as the organization's spokesperson and face, representing TGT in external contexts, networks, and media together with alumni.
- Having personnel responsibility for the team, including recruitment, employee interviews, competence development, and workplace environment responsibility. Ensuring compliance with labor law and developing relevant HR policies.
- Having financial responsibility, including budget, forecasts, follow-up, and audit.
- Having overall responsibility for funding and partnerships, including fundraising strategy, development of funding models, partner relations, and offerings.
- Ensuring quality in the operations and supporting the team in achieving the program's impact goals.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role, it is necessary that you have:
- Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
- Documented experience in a managerial role with personnel responsibility
- Experience in fundraising, partner dialogues, and business development
- Experience in operational, budget, and financial responsibility
- Experience in change management and operational development
- Ability to represent the organization externally
- Understanding of social issues, inclusion, and young people's living conditions
- Structured work approach and decision-making ability in change
- Strong ability to lead, engage, and create results

Practical Information
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probation period. You will work from our office in Fittja, with the possibility of remote work a few days a week. Some work is scheduled on weekends and evenings.
