About the Role

The operational area includes a variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, control and regulation, medical gases, technical air, as well as power supply and distribution. Responsibility also includes certain operational technical equipment. These are complex systems where we are responsible for preventive maintenance and participate in major renovations and new installation projects. The work is carried out in a hospital environment, with patient safety as a focus, in close collaboration with Region Sörmland's operations and staff.

Your Responsibilities

As a Service Technician Gas (Specialist) with us, you will, together with other colleagues, ensure the daily operation and future development of the properties regarding gas issues, and perform various property and operational technical tasks. You will be part of a group with mixed experience and competence, where success is built on the willingness to help each other. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your technical skills further. As a Gas Technician (Specialist), you will join a team with wonderful colleagues where you will contribute together to a better everyday life for healthcare.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Working with gas-related property rounds, supervision, and maintenance.
• Working both independently and in teams to ensure the functionality of gas systems.
• Planned maintenance.
• Point of contact for our gas supplier.
• Minor repairs in our gas system.
• Performing various property and operational technical tasks.
• Performing work in other technical areas as needed.

Your Qualifications

• Documented experience in the above-described or similar tasks.
• Knowledge of gas systems.
• Good computer skills and administrative ability, as all reporting is done digitally.
• Good Swedish language skills in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Advantageous Qualifications

If you have professional competence in the following areas, it is advantageous:

• Cooling technology.
• Control and regulation technology.
• Other specialized competence in property technology.

Employment Terms

Permanent full-time position. Start date as soon as possible after agreement. Working hours are weekdays 07:00–16:00. On-call duty may be included. Travel within the county during working hours occurs.
