MN Portservice was founded in 2023 and works with the service, repair, and maintenance of gates, barriers, loading docks, doors, and weather seals. The customers are primarily in industry, logistics, public sector operations, as well as security-classified environments such as the police and military.

The company builds its operations on long-term relationships, high trust, and an approach where the customer feels both seen and heard. The focus is on finding the right solution for the customer – not selling things that are not needed. This has created strong customer relationships and a business where fast service, transparency, and high availability are a natural part of everyday life.

Now, MN Portservice is looking for a Service Technician who wants to help continue developing the business forward.

About the Role

As a Service Technician, you will primarily work on-site with customers, performing service, troubleshooting, and repair of gates, doors, barriers, and loading docks. The role involves great freedom and independent work where you plan much of your own daily routine.

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair of gates, doors, barriers, and loading docks
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site with customers
• Preventive maintenance
• Customer contact and upselling of relevant solutions and services
• Documentation and reporting
• Working both independently and together with colleagues as needed

The work takes place largely outdoors, and travel within the region is a natural part of the role. The majority of the work is done independently, but support and backup are always close at hand.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Experience in service, repair, mechanics, or similar technical work
• Understanding of electricity
• Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Ability to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (Swedish: belastningsregisterutdrag)

Merits:

• Experience with gates, doors, loading docks, or similar equipment
• Background as a mechanic
• Experience with troubleshooting and technical service on-site with customers
• Experience with upselling or customer responsibility

Other Information

Employment Type: Full-time with a 6-month probation period
Working Hours: Varying start times depending on assignments
Location: Nyköping with a work area within a radius of approximately 100 km
