Regional Service is a smooth, flexible, and innovative service organization with proud employees who together create value for Region Sörmland.
Transport is part of operational services, which is a part of Regional Service. Here, we transport everything from packages, laundry, and meals within hospitals, as well as between hospitals and to, for example, primary healthcare centers. We also perform patient transport within hospitals.
Your Responsibilities
- Transport of food, mail, laundry, and waste
- Sorting of recyclables
- Forklift driving
- Respectful handling of the deceased
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Due to the importance of ensuring patient safety in our operations, we require very good Swedish skills in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.
- Hold a B-driver's license (manual transmission).
- Hold a C-driver's license.
- Hold a Certificate of Professional Competence (YKB/ADR).
Desirable Experience and Personal Traits
Previous experience in the area you are applying for is meritorious. As a person, you enjoy working in a team and have good collaboration skills. You are self-motivated, and since this job sometimes involves rapid changes, we value that you are flexible as a person and can easily adapt to changes. We value a service-oriented attitude and loyalty! We place great importance on personal qualities.
Employment Type
Summer temporary position / Fixed-term employment with start date by agreement.
The employer expects the applicant to be available throughout the entire summer period (Week 24–Week 33) and also available for any training days and introductions before the summer temporary position, approx. 2 weeks. If availability is not present for the entire summer, please specify which weeks you are available for the summer temporary position.
Working hours are between 07:00 - 22:00; scheduled weekend work may occur.
