About the Role

Do you want to work in a broad and developmental role where you can combine structure, responsibility, and collaboration? We are now looking for an Accounting Assistant for an international company in Gothenburg. Here you will have the opportunity to work close to the operations and develop within accounting. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will become an important part of the finance function, working closely with experienced colleagues in daily financial work. This role suits you if you have a few years of experience in a similar position and wish to continue developing within finance in an international environment.

You are offered a varied position where you work both operationally and supportively within accounting and administration. The role involves significant personal responsibility while you receive support and the opportunity to grow into more qualified tasks over time.

Your main responsibilities:

• Continuous bookkeeping
• Supplier and customer accounts receivable/payable (ledgers)
• Reconciliations
• Support during monthly and annual closing
• Gradually take over and be responsible for more tasks over time
• Collaboration with internal and external contacts in daily financial work

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in economics or accounting
• Have approximately 2–4 years of work experience in practical accounting, with experience in K3/IFRS being an advantage
• Have worked with continuous bookkeeping, customer and supplier ledgers, as well as simpler closing tasks
• Have experience with major ERP systems
• Have good knowledge of Excel
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage.
