About the Role

Do you want to work in a broad and developmental role where you can combine structure, responsibility, and collaboration? We are currently looking for an Accounting Assistant for an international company in Gothenburg. Here, you will have the opportunity to work close to the business operations and develop within accounting. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will become an important part of the finance function, working closely with experienced colleagues in daily accounting tasks. This role is suitable for you who have a few years of experience in a similar position and wish to continue developing within finance in an international environment.

You will be offered a varied position where you work both operationally and supportively within accounting and administration. The role involves significant personal responsibility while providing support and the opportunity to grow into more qualified tasks over time.

Your main responsibilities:

• Continuous bookkeeping
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciliations
• Support during monthly and annual closing
• Gradually take over and be responsible for more tasks over time
• Collaboration with internal and external contacts in daily accounting work

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in economics or accounting
• Have approximately 2–4 years of work experience in practical accounting, with experience in K3/IFRS being an advantage
• Have worked with continuous bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and simpler closing tasks
• Have experience with major ERP systems
• Have good skills in Excel
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing; knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus
