Operations Coordinator (approx. 50%) at IF Kville

IF Kville is now looking for an Operations Coordinator who wants to take a central role in developing, coordinating, and strengthening our activities. IF Kville is an athletics club in Gothenburg with over 800 members. We operate at Björlandahallen, Björlandavallen, and in the House of Athletics (near Slottsskogen), where our office is located.

IF Kville offers athletics for the whole family, for life. In practice, this means that children, youth, elite athletes, and veterans exist within the same club and often interact closely. At IF Kville, athletics is not just about performance on the track, but equally about building a sustainable operation socially, economically, and environmentally. About the role

This is a broad and varied coordination role where you work closely with the sports director, coaches, and leaders to ensure the operation runs smoothly and develops over time.

You will become a key person in creating structure, planning activities, and ensuring that communication works effectively between the club, coaches, athletes, and parents.

The role reports directly to the sports director and combines coordination, administration, and the development of working methods. It suits you if you are independent, organized, and enjoy working with people.

You do not need an athletics background, but you should thrive in a sports-oriented environment and appreciate working within youth activities.

The position covers approximately 50% (averaging about 20 hours per week) and includes work during daytime, evenings, and some weekends.

The core of the assignment

Your most important tasks will be to:

• Coordinate and develop daily operations
• Strengthen and support coaching teams organizationally
• Coordinate competitions, events, trips, and camps
• Create structure and sustainable working methods within the club
• Ensure clear communication with athletes, leaders, and parents
• Contribute to the operation continuing to grow in a sustainable way

We are looking for you who

• Are structured and good at creating order and the big picture
• Are independent and like to take responsibility
• Enjoy coordination and many contact surfaces
• Have good administrative and digital skills
• Solution-oriented, flexible, and without ego
• Preferably have experience from club life, sports, or youth activities

Experience in coordinating operations, events, or projects is meritorious. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
