We are now looking for an engaged and caring personal assistant for a man in a wheelchair in central Ulricehamn. As an assistant, you will be an important part of the customer's daily life and provide support in various areas.

In this role, you will assist the customer with personal hygiene, meals, other daily activities, and be helpful with answering the phone and handling communication with external parties. You will be the customer's extended arms and legs, and your presence will make a real difference in his life. Just as important as stepping in when needed is having respect and understanding when you need to step back and let the customer have time for themselves.

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the customer's needs and wishes.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who are empathetic, sensitive, and have the ability to create a safe and trusting relationship with the customer. You are meticulous and reliable, and have the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed. It is important that you are compliant and respectful towards the customer's integrity and wishes. You should not have problems with shoulders or back as some heavy lifting occurs in the work.

We are currently looking for an assistant who can work during the summer, primarily during weeks 24, 29, 30, and 31. The shifts are scheduled between 10:00–19:30. The position may lead to a temporary hourly employment if needed, for example when other assistants are sick or on leave.
