Our preschool is located in a lovely environment with proximity to both forest, sea, and public transport. We base our work on Reggio Emilia, and here you will meet bright and thoughtfully designed educational environments, high pedagogical competence, and a dedicated team where pedagogues and head preschool teachers support the joint development work. We have high expectations and actively work on developing our learning environments, pedagogical documentation, and processes together with the children, always with the child at the center. All pedagogues are trained in PECS (TAKK in Swedish) and have access to digital tools such as computers, iPads, and projectors. Here you will have the opportunity to grow together with colleagues in a business characterized by collaboration, joy of work, and a strong pedagogical atmosphere.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with the ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You are a secure leader and a good role model for both children and adults, with the ability to create a positive and developmental environment where children can develop at their own pace.

You can plan, implement, document, and analyze the activity according to the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are comfortable using digital tools in your work.

It is meritorious if you have experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired working methods, multilingualism, the significance of play and storytelling for children's learning, as well as special pedagogical approaches, such as PECS (TAKK) and accessible learning environments. Experience in introducing children to preschool is also an advantage. At the same time, the most important thing for us is that you have a genuine interest, curiosity, and desire to develop in these areas – therefore, we also welcome recent graduates to apply.

We are responsible for education and care for approximately 25,000 children in nearly 350 municipal preschools. The administration has around 7,000 employees distributed across approximately 75 professions.
