We are strengthening our intermediate school level (grades 4-6) with two additional teachers to develop a co-teaching system!

We are therefore looking for you who are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach in grades 4-6. You must be eligible in at least Mathematics, Swedish as a Second Language (SVA), and Swedish, but additional subject qualifications are of course a merit. Equally important is that you have experience working as a teacher in grades 4-6 and have a developed approach to working in a team with your colleagues to create good group dynamics, safety, and study atmosphere in the classroom.

Slottsbergsskolan is a new school that opened in the autumn of 2020. From the autumn of 2025, we will be a preschool to grade 5 (F-5) school, growing gradually from the bottom up with one grade level per year. There is a "new-build" spirit that permeates our operations, where we learn and develop together. We work based on grade levels, which are then divided into smaller groups according to the students' needs and the facilities the grade level utilizes in its hub. We have many different rooms and group rooms available in each hub. Slottsbergsskolan also has access to a gym, school library, craft rooms, and a room for creative work and art. Our meals are prepared on-site in the school cafeteria, and the school is located near the Ruddalen outdoor area.

At Slottsbergsskolan, the student is in focus, and all staff at the school work together to build a common value base and school culture from a salutogenic perspective.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you create the conditions for students' knowledge development to reach the goals of the curriculum and course plans. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work and work towards a safe and stimulating learning environment. Furthermore, you are responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development. You contribute to collegial learning and the pedagogical work, as well as developing teaching for higher goal fulfillment. We focus extra on creating accessible learning environments for all students, as we are convinced that all students do the right thing if they can!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with at least eligibility to teach in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language (SVA), and Mathematics in grades 4-6. Broader subject competence is a merit.

As a person, you have the ability to work systematically, clearly, and be low-affective in your interaction with students, truly believing that they do the right thing if they can. You are well-versed in our steering documents, and the development of students' learning and teaching is your primary and greatest focus, in harmony with the students' well-being. Collaborating in work teams is a matter of course for us, and we make each other better.
